As popular as they have become, one would think that its users are taking full advantage of its features. In my observance I find this is hardly the case.

HOME SCREEN
Note: You must go into Phone Options and turn dialing from home screen OFF for these shortcuts to function.

Press A or C to access your address book
Press S to search
Press F to view profiles
Press W or B to open your browser
Press H for help
Press K to lock the keypad
Press L to access the calendar
Press V to view messages
Press M to access the messages folder
Press R for alarm
Press T for tasks
Press U for calculator
Press I for applications
Press O for options
Press P for phone
Press D for memo pad
Press ALT+Right Shift+Delete for a hard reset

MESSAGES

Press R to reply
Press L to reply to all
Press F to forward
Press Space to insert an ‘at’ sign (@) and Space again to insert a period (.) in an email field.

Message List:
Press Shift+Space to move up a screen
Press Space to move down a screen
Press T to go to the top of a message
Press B to go to the bottom of the message
Press N to move to the next date
Press P to move to the previous date

TYPING

Press Space twice to insert a period and capitalize the next letter
Hold the letter key down for a capital letter
Press ALT+Left Shift to turn on NUM lock
Press ALT+Right Shift to turn on CAP lock
Press Shift to turn off NUM lock or CAP lock
Press Shift while moving the trackball to highlight text
Press Shift+Backspace/Delete to cut
Press ALT+Click the trackball to copy
Press Shift+Click the trackball to paste

BROWSER

Press Space to insert a period (.) in the web address box
Press Shift+Space to insert a slash (/) in the web address box
Press G to open a specific web page
Press H to go to your homepage
Press K to open your bookmarks
Press A to add a bookmark
Press I to view the browser history
Press R to refresh the page
Press P to view the address of the web page
Press X to view a thumbnail version of a web page
Press Shift+Space to move up a screen
Press Space to move down a screen
Press T to go to the top of the web page
Press B to go to the bottom of the web page
Press S to search for text in the web page

Password fields default to text fields, so if you wish to type a number you must press and hold the ALT key while tapping the number.

CAMERA

Press the Right Convenience key to take a picture
Press the Volume Up or Volume Down keys to zoom in and out, respectively
Press Space to change the flash mode
Press the Symbol key to change the size of the viewfinder

Media Player:

Press Mute to pause a video or song, press again to resume
Press N to play the next song in a category
Press P to play the previous song in a category
Press R to rotate a picture
Press I to zoom in on a picture
Press O to zoom out on a picture
Press W to return to original picture size

Calendar:
Note: For shortcuts to work in Day View in the calendar options, set the Enable Quick Entry field to No.

Press C to schedule an appointment
Press A to switch to Agenda view
Press D to switch to Day view
Press W to switch to Week view
Press M to switch to Month view
Press Space to move to the next day, week, or month
Press Shift+Space to move to the previous day, week, or month
Press T to move to the current date
Press G to move to a specific date
